By registering with JPC you will have accounts in colones and dollars, without the need to have minimum balances and at no cost.

Each of these accounts have their own IBAN, which will help you to receive or make transfers.

You can request new IBAN accounts, in colones and dollars according to your needs.

Account Verification

Transactional

Transfers between JPC accounts without costs.
Instant transfers to other banks (SINPE), commission cost $1 per transaction.
Free mobile SINPE transfers, up to exceeding the daily transactional limit.

JPC operates through correspondent banks. Therefore, if you wish to transfer funds to or from accounts in other countries, you will need to request instructions. Please note that you must provide the following information to be authorized and receive the required instructions: the country of origin, originating bank, originating account, transfer amount, purpose of the transfer, and the source of the funds being transferred. Additionally, we may request information about the originating account, such as the legal representative of the transferring company. Also, please consider that ideally, if you wish to receive funds from a personal account, it should be in your own name and not that of a third party. It's important to take into account the limits established in your account. If the transfer is on behalf of a company, it is always better to provide the requested information mentioned above. An increase is requested when transactions exceed the authorized monthly transactional limit. Within online banking and JPC App you will find a transactional limits section where you can see the monthly amounts allowed.

Types of transactions that may exceed the authorized monthly transactional limit:

Occasional mismatch: If the excess amount is due to unusual income.

Regular mismatch: If the excess amount is due to your regular economic activity, update your financial data to adjust your transactional limit.

Attach any of these documents that evidence the type of transaction recorded that exceeded the transactional limit.

Due to occasional mismatch: If the excess amount is due to unusual income (for example, sale of vehicle, purchase of property, inheritance), send legal documents that prove it.

Due to regular mismatch: If the excess amount is due to your regular economic activity, update your financial data to adjust your transactional limit with one of the documents indicated in the attached list:
